Before becoming a TOX247 Sample Collection Practitioner (SCP) with a ‘TOX247 Authority to Practise’ you need to understand the definition of what your accreditation will give you:
 
“The role of the TOX247 Sample Collection Practitioner (SCP) within any company workplace substance management programme (WSMP) is to respond to the activation of the TOX247 programme of testing and analysis (PoTA). The SCP is the company’s trained and competent person in the collection of narrow and wide window samples using, due diligence device (DDD) testing, and back to laboratory (BTL) analysis. The SCP is trained to manage the donors sample collection with dignity ensuring that the correct samples are collected for the correct reasons and submitted to a laboratory with all evidence controls intact ready for escalation to the Programme Managing Practitioner (PMP).”
